We are always delighted to welcome school-going film fans. A trip to the cinema is a powerful, immersive, and enjoyable way to reward students and teachers. It is also a great companion to literacy based education, with so many film adaptations of curriculum books and plays, or enhance learning with films covering a range of subjects including history, politics, social education and more.

    We are delighted to be working with INTO FILM again this Spring and offering three films free of charge to Primary Schools during INTO FILM Spring Screenings in March.

    Sonic the super-fast hedgehog is back with his friends Knuckles and Tails to face a powerful new adversary. After a high-level security breach, the trio are called upon to try and stop Shadow, a hedgehog genetically engineered with alien DNA that has unparalleled powers. With their abilities outmatched in every way, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance with Dr. Ivo Robotnik if they're to stand a chance of protecting the planet. But a revelation is in store for the zany "Eggman" doctor too. This thrilling action adventure explores themes including teamwork, friendship and family, and is the third instalment of the franchise based on the popular Japanese video game series. Eagle-eyed fans will spot many references and Easter eggs from the games themselves, such as the cute Chao creatures of Chao Gardens.

    Inspired by the popular Transformers toy action figures, this animated sci-fi action film presents the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and his sworn enemy Megatron, two alien robots from planet Cybertron. But before they became the powerful leaders of the Autobots and the Decepticons respectively, they were two close friends called Orion Pax and D-16, a pair of lowly miner bots working underground who can't yet transform. Keen to prove themselves, they go up to the surface of their planet with their friends B-127 and Elita-1 and find a mysterious robot who gives them transformation cogs to help them access their full potential. But they also discover a terrible secret, which will lead the two best friends on separate paths, setting their incredible powers against each other. This addition to the franchise is a high-tech rollercoaster ride with a resonating message about friendship and the difference between right and wrong.

    12-year-old Bea moves into her grandmother's apartment in New York while her father awaits heart surgery in the same hospital that her mother died in from cancer years earlier. Her father insists that everything will be fine and is not just upbeat but insists upon being playful and silly. While Bea enjoys his antics, she's on the cusp of adolescence and feels that she needs to leave her childhood memories behind. One night, however, she stumbles upon an odd-looking creature named Blossom and follows her home. Bea discovers that a mysterious man named Cal is working with Blossom and other creatures of all shapes and sizes which are each imaginary friends (IFs) of children or at least they used to be. After learning about their stories, she sets out to help Cal in reuniting the IFs with the children who have since forgotten them and discovers something about her own childhood along the way. Full of delightful characters, ‘IF' is a heartfelt story about family, friendship, and growing up.
